How do we reach the Youth, Faith, Fellowship, Fun, and of course Food. That’s just the beginning of discipling students to apply Scriptural truth to life. We help teen girls discover the beauty of dwelling with God, and guide young men to discover what it means to be the man God wants them to be. Events are listed weekly. Come Join Us.
Children’s Ministries helps reach our children with the Word of God through weekly activities and fun classes available. Seasonal events like Trunk or Treat, Harvest Festival, Breakfast with Santa, Super Science Saturday, Summer Family Fun, Cooking with the Chef, Water Day, St. Mark’s Family Day at Whataburger Field with the Hooks, are scheduled in advance. Invite a friend, you’ll be glad you did.
Are babies and toddlers too young to learn about God and grow spiritually? Should children’s ministry include children this young? According to the Bible, we are never too young to learn about our Heavenly Father. Our Nursery Care Worker provides a safe, loving, and Christian atmosphere for your precious prince or princess.
The Senior Ministries were designed to meet the needs and interest of a diverse group of adults 65 years and older. While emphasis is placed on members of St. Mark’s members, other senior citizens are encouraged to attend. The more the merrier. We love our Seniors! A morning prayer service is offered to Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. A bible study is offered at Brookdale Assisted Living chapel on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. A women’s book club meets on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. in the church library.
Women’s Ministries focus on teaching ladies the skills and know-how to work confidently at St. Mark’s so that they may enjoy the fruits and benefits of building a strong church family environment. Women’s Ministries share life with other women throughout the week through prayer, crafts, and visitations. Fruit of the Vine Women’s Book Club, Wrapped in Prayer, and occasional bible study or prayer groups are available.
Men’s Ministries help challenge and equip men to fully understand their position under God as well as their position over what God has given them with their time, talents, and tithe. Several Men’s Ministry opportunities are available through Holy Locusts – Church Yard Stewardship, Access Plus – Ramp Builds, and Grillin’ Pavilion Fellowship Nights.
